Torrie is excited to be in her fourth school year, bringing enthusiasm and dedication to our program. With a strong commitment to creating a fun, safe, and enriching environment. Her approach focuses on building a welcoming space where students can thrive. In her spare time, Torrie enjoys spending her evenings and weekends with her friends and family. She looks forward to continuing her journey with Meridian, making a positive impact on students and fostering an inclusive community. 
 
Megan Askew

Megan Askew (She/Her)

Administrative Assistant

 

Megan Askew is the Triple team Administrative Assistant. She moved from Virginia to Austin, Texas May of 2024. Megan graduated from Old Dominion University obtaining her Bachelor's of Science in psychology. She is continuing her education studying mental health and currently pursuing her teaching certification. In her spare time, she loves traveling, reading a good book, or spending time with close friends and family. She also is a huge foodie! She excited to begin her new chapter in life and happy to join the team!
 
Adrien Finlen

Hi! I’m Adrien Finlen, and this is my fourth school year as a Triple A Group Leader at Meridian. I love being part of this community and getting to support and grow with the students each day. When I’m not at work, I enjoy reading, writing, and making art. I’m also a proud Meridian mom—my son goes here too! My favorite color is pink, and I have a very chatty orange cat named Crunchy.

Christian Edmondson

Ms. Edmondson (She/Her)

Group B Leader (Kinder)

 

Christian Edmondson joined the Triple A team as support staff in October of 2022. She was born in Austin, Texas, and enjoys the places that Texas has to offer, such as the parks and shopping malls. She also has an appreciation for alone time, and likes to make the most of that time by reading, listening to music, and checking up on her friends. As the youngest sibling, she's been shown a great example of how to treat younger children by her two brothers. 

 

Erika Avina

Ms. Aviña (She/Her)

Group D Leader (1st Grade)

 
Erika Aviña was born and raised in Round Rock, TX. She joined the Triple A team in August of 2021. Erika loves being a part of the students' learning process and expanding their minds. Ms. Aviña enjoys trips to Mexico twice a year to visit family. In her free time, Erika can be found spending time with her loved ones. She is looking forward to a wonderful school year!
 
 
Keyara McKnight

Group G Leader (3rd grade) 

 

Keyera joined the Triple A team in January, 2025. Her passion for helping others has inspired her to become a teacher. Keyera is currently studying at Austin Community College, with dreams of transferring to Prairie View A&M. In her free time, she enjoys relaxing at home with her family and dogs. 

Robert Trevino

Mr. Robert (He/Him)

Group H Leader (3rd Grade) 

 

Robert Trevino was born in Puerto Rico, raised in Austin, and now resides in Round Rock, TX. He joined the Triple A team in December of 2021 as Support Staff, and is currently pursuing a teacher’s certification. Robert is a formally trained multi-instrumentalist, audio engineer and professional musician. He also holds an associates degree in Music Business and Technology, and has a background in retail management. In his spare time, he enjoys drawing, cooking, gardening, woodworking and spending quality time with his wife, son, daughter and grandson.
 
 

Yvonne Camarillo

Group J Leader (4th Grade)

 
Yvonne Camarillo joined Meridian in August of 2017. She was born and raised in Corpus Christi, TX. She attended Austin Community College and South University when she and her family moved to the area. She's certified in Management/Leadership. Throughout her career, she's had the opportunity to co-own a restaurant and manage and market several other businesses before transitioning to the classroom. She has worked in special education inclusion, earning certificates in Capturing Kids Heart and Making the PYP Happen in the Classroom. Mrs. Camarillo has over 20 years of management experience, and 10 years of child care experience in grades K-5. In her present days, she's invested in property managing, focusing on residential living. Mrs Camarillo has said, "Working for the school system with all of her amazing students she's met along the way has truly changed her life for the best, giving her such peace." On her off days, she loves spending time with family and friends, especially her grandson, vacationing, writing, and shopping. 
 
 
Angel Franklin

I love finding fresh, fun, and flexible ways to make learning lively as can be! Whether it's through art, stories, or games. My goal is to spark curiosity, cultivate creativity, and connect students with the world around them.
Brianna Stimmel

Ms. Stimmel (She/Her)

Group L Leader (5th Grade)

 

Brianna is from Round Rock, TX. She has been babysitting since 2017 and she finds joy engaging in fun activities with the kids. She enjoys going out in nature and taking pictures on her camera, as well as writing poetry and a variety of literature in her free time. She loves to read, watch criminal justice shows, and spend time with her friends and family.

Jessie Atnip

Support Staff / Wednesday Kinder-1st Grade Leader

 
Ms. Jessie Atnip is born and raised in Round Rock, Texas. In her high school years, she gained previous childcare experience in a mentorship with elementary aged students in the Pflugerville school district. She is majoring in psychology at Austin Community College and strives to eventually pursue a career in child psychology, advocating for children’s mental health. In her free time, she enjoys watching 80’s classic movies while reading a good science fiction book and cuddling with her cats and doggies! 
 
Kayla Cerrillo

Wednesday 2nd-3rd Grade Leader / Front Desk Support
 
Kayla Cerrillo joined the Triple A team in August of 2023, but has been involved with the Meridian community since 2016. She was born in Wichita Falls, Texas, and moved to Round Rock, Texas in 1998. Kayla is a mom of three boys, and a bonus daughter. Her bonus daughter is an alumni of Meridian while her two oldest boys are currently attending middle and high school. In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her family and fur babies, crocheting for the kids in her group as well as for her small business and reading.
 
 
Nell Osmar

Support Staff / Wednesday 4th-5th Grade Leader

 

Nell Osmar joined the Triple A team in February of 2024. She has worked in child education for more than 10 years in public and Montessori schools. She enjoys watching that light bulb moment go on in children as they obtain that sense of accomplishment in their work. She has lived in Georgetown for over 20 years and likes to stay busy and get things done. In her down time she enjoys walks, yoga, eating out, her bible study groups, watching her daughter perform on stage, and hanging out with her husband of 25 years. 
 
Nikki Handy

Nikki Handy is a political science student with collegiate experience in competitive speech, debate, and mock trial. In her  free time she loves to roller skate or watch a good football game! She has a passion for working with children of all ages and admires their fun and free outlook on life. 

Stephanie Solorio

Stephanie Solorio joined Triple A in March 2021 as support staff, transitioned to group leader, and she is now back to support Staff. Born and raised in Morgan Hill, California, she studied Administrative Justice and earned a Communications certificate from Gavilan Community College. After relocating to Texas, she graduated from Austin Community College and is now attending Texas Tech University, working toward her bachelors degree and teacher certification. Her goal is to lead a classroom of her own by fall 2026. Stephanie thrives in Meridian’s vibrant and inclusive culture. She’s passionate about creating meaningful connections with students, staff, families, and the community. In her free time, she enjoys reading, shopping, exploring new restaurants, refurbishing furniture, and taking short trips with her wife and children.
 
 
Isaac Lee

Isaac Lee joined the Triple A team in August, 2024, and is currently a hight school intern at Triple A. He is currently in 11th grade, and is working towards the IB diploma. Isaac has had previous experience working childcare in Meridian's student childcare program, and looks forward to working with Meridian's bright young students. Isaac enjoys playing tennis, biking, and can't wait to start this school year!
 
Dariyen Stone

Dariyen Stone joined the Triple A team in August of 2024 as a high school intern. Dariyen was born in Topeka, Kansas, and lived there until 2019, when he moved to Round Rock, Texas. Dariyen has gained a large amount of experience in child caretaking from taking care of his four younger siblings. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with his two cats. 
Brianna Marr

Ms. Marr (She/Her)

Triple A Substitute 

 

Brianna Marr joined the Triple-A team in October of 2022. She loves doing many things such as reading, traveling, driving/road trips, watching Gilmore Girls, meeting new people, making memories with her group, and so much more. Her dream is to pursue a doctorate in pediatric occupational therapy, as she has always loved working with children. Ms. Marr's biggest philosophy for her Triple A group to learn is to be the best human and student possible. She is always ready for an adventure, and cannot wait to start another school year off!
