2024-2025 School Year Registration Opens May 1, 2024. 

Meridian Art

Art With Your Heart classes give students the opportunity to explore their creative ideas and talents through projects that are an extension of the primary arts curriculum. This program is led by Marny Lee, the Primary Art teacher at Meridian.

 

2024-2025 School Year Registration

Grade: 1–2

Frequency: One class per week

When: Tuesday from 4 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Fall Session: October 22, 2024 – November 19, 2024

Spring Session: April 1, 2025 – April 29, 2025

 

Grade: 3–5

Frequency: One class per week

When: Tuesday from 4 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Fall Session: September 3, 2024 – October 1, 2024

Spring Session: January 28, 2025 – February 25, 2025

 

Cost: $140 for 5 week session

 

How to Register

Registration steps will be available on May 1, 2024

Fall Session I: September 11 – October 16 (No class on 10/9) - AT CAPACITY

Fall Session II: October 23 – November 27 (No class on 11/20) - AT CAPACITY

Spring Session I: January 22 – February 26 (No class on 2/19) - AT CAPACITY

Spring Session II: March 18 – April 15 - AT CAPACITY

Cost: $140 for 5 week session

Meet the Instructor

Marny Lee

Marny Lee joined Meridian in August 2022 as the PYP art teacher. Marny has a Bachelor's degree in Art Education from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master's in Learning and Technology from Western Governors University. Marny volunteered as an Americorps Artist in Las Cruces, New Mexico for a few years right after college. She then moved to South Korea to teach English where she met her husband. Marny has two children, both attend Meridian. Marny loves to make any kind of art, but especially fiber arts like embroidery and sewing!

 

Late Pick up Fees

  • Late pick-up from Arts/À la carte/After school programs will result in additional fees to accrue at the rate of $5 per 5 minutes starting with the first minute.

  • Students who participate in Arts/À la carte activities will be charged $5 per 5 minutes with a 5 minute grace period from the activity's dismissal time to allow for transition from the classroom.

  • For full-time after school students end-of-day, "late" begins at 6:01 p.m.

1 – 5 minutes = $5

6 – 10 minutes = $10

11 – 15 minutes = $15

16 – 20 minutes = $20 ...
