2024 Spring Dance Clinic

Who: 6th-11th graders.

A minimum of 6 participants is needed for this clinic to form. There is a maximum of 25 participants. Registration will close at 9 p.m. on Wednesday, February 14, or earlier if the limited spots fill up first.

 

What: A one-day clinic to help dancers enhance skills prior to 2024-2025 Dance Team tryouts. Participation is optional and is not required to be eligible for 2024-2025 Dance Team tryouts. This clinic is offered at all levels (intermediate-advanced). Options/modifications will be offered. 

 

When: Saturday: 4/27 from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

 

Where: Meridian's Mays Gym

What to wear/bring:  Participants will need to bring their own lunch and water bottle. Please wear a school appropriate T-shirt or athletics top with leggings or athletic shorts. If wearing shorts, tights must be worn underneath. Please wear Jazz shoes for footwear. 


Fees: Two fees due: Both the registration fee and the participation fee.

 

1. $52.30 Registration Fee ($50 registration + 4.6% MySchoolBucks user fee.) The registration fee is a processing fee and is only refundable if the minimum number of students do not register and this sports offering is canceled. If the student changes their mind, does not establish or maintain eligibility, or leaves Meridian, the registration fee remains non-refundable and non-transferrable. Registration fees must be paid via MySchoolBucks.

2. + $100 Participation Fee:
  • Participation fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
  • *Add 4.6% MySchoolBucks user fee if paying participation fees via MySchoolBucks. Or participation fees can be paid by check. (The $52.30 registration fee cannot be paid by check.) Instructions for paying the participation fee by check will be given in the Welcome email, which will be sent the day after registration closes.

Eligibility:

  1. Dancers must be physically eligible to participate. Learn more on Physical Forms & Sports Physicals.
  2. Dancers must be financially eligible to participate. This means the student is in good financial standing with the school.
  3. Academic eligibility does not apply to Developmental/Pre-season sports and clinics.

Important Dates for the Spring Dance Clinic:

2/14- Registration closes at 9:00 PM (or sooner if spots fill up first)

2/14 - Physical forms due

2/16 - Welcome emails sent with instructions to join TeamApp

2/21 - Invoices for participation fees sent parents/guardians via MySchoolBucks

2/26 - Participation fees due (or first payment of 50% if using a payment plan)

4/1 - Balance of payment plan due

4/27 - Spring Dance Clinic

 

Registration: 

  • Registration is now closed!
  • Registration ended at 9 p.m. on February 14.
  • Registration for the Spring Dance Clinic is separate from registration for 2024-2025 Dance Team tryouts. Students who wish to participate on the 2024-2025 Dance Team must register for 2024-2025 Dance Team tryouts between April 17 and 9 p.m. on April 24. Learn more on Sports Registration.
