Mrs. Patschke

Triple A Manager


Kathryn Patschke joined us as the Triple A Manager in May of 2018. She brings her expertise in child development and staff management. She came to us with a background as the Program Director of a physical development center with nearly 8 years of experience. She holds an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education and is currently pursuing her Bachelors in Youth and Community Studies with a focus in Special Populations at the University of Texas at Austin. What drew her to Meridian was the mission. She believes in the importance of helping students develop social and intellectual skills that will not only help them in their transition into adulthood and into the workforce, but more importantly help them develop relationships to enjoy a fulfilling life.



Mrs. Soni

Enrichment Activity Coordinator (K-5th)


Geetanjali Soni joined Meridian in Fall of 2011 as the enrichment leader for first grade. She continued on in successive years as the second and third grade leader. After working as the Senior Enrichment Leader, Mrs. Soni was promoted to the Enrichment Coordinator position. As the Enrichment Coordinator, she plans and supervises enriching activities and events for the entire program. In 2016 she was promoted to the assistant manager as well as overseeing enrichment curriculum. She has a Bachelor of Arts from Delhi University, India, Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas State University, and a Texas Teacher’s Certification for early childhood through fourth grade and ESL. She has over 20 years of teaching experience. She has worked as a tutor, mentor, aerobics instructor, and cosmetologist consultant. She currently teaches yoga, beginner chess, creative art classes, and substitutes in Round Rock ISD. Mrs. Soni is bilingual and can read and write in Hindi. Mrs. Soni was the co-manager and appraiser of a Destination Imagination team in 2015-16. She enjoys cooking, crafts, shopping, photography, creating henna designs, and family time. "Meridian’s after school program helps me to explore my own interests, hobbies, and ideas. I love the after school environment and encouraging staff that I work with." In Summer of 2017, she had the opportunity to oversee the BadgerDog Writing Camp hosted at Meridian School. Her philosophy for the after school program is Supervision, Safety and Structure.



Mrs. Stowell (Formerly Ms. Davis)

Triple A Receptionist/Registrar 


Kathy is the receptionist/registrar for the Triple A after school program. She joined Meridian in August 2017. She has three years of experience as a pre-k assistant teacher. She also has seven years of experience as a clerical receptionist. Kathy enjoys traveling, reading, and decorating. One of her favorite authors is Dr. Seuss. "The more you read, the more things you will know, the more that you learn, the more places you'll go."




Ms. Ramirez

Group Leader K1


Yazmin Ramirez joined Triple A in October 2018. She has 4 years of child care experience, and college credit in child development. She graduated from Austin Dental Assistant School. Yazmin brings new, young, and fresh ideas to the Triple A program. Yazmin enjoys working with children and she says “children never fail to brighten your day”. She enjoys shopping, watching movies and taking long walks with her three dogs. Yazmin LOVES traveling. Her favorite snack is Spicy Fritos with cream cheese. Her favorite animal is a monkey and she loves every color.



Ms. Ochoa

Group Leader K2


Jessica Ochoa joins Meridian this 2018-2019 school year. She comes to Meridian with a lot of compassion for our students and excitement to see what this year has in store! While she helps us out with your wonderful children she hopes to continue her education to become a Vet Technician. She aspires to one day open a senior dog sanctuary to provide much needed love and care to older dogs who no longer have someone to care for them.

Regan Mersiosky joined us as an after school support leader in August of 2018. She brings some college knowledge in the area of Special Education. In the past, she has had experience in nannying with various ages of children. She truly enjoys seeing the world through their eyes. She is looking forward to this school year and the new learning experiences that she will receive at the Meridian School.
Ms. Seeman

Group Leader 1A


Skylar Seeman joined Merdian in February 2018. Ms. Seeman has previously worked at the Round Rock Dell Diamond, directly in the Fun Zone and spent each Express baseball game with young students in an outdoor and fun environment. She credits the Fun Zone as the area where she gained her love in children’s education. Ms. Seeman also obtained her dental assisting license and became the dental assistant of a dental office in Round Rock, Texas. Here she realized her love for education and her passion to lead children which became her mission. Skylar Seeman enjoys inspiring children and is pursuing her love for children’s education by one day becoming a Elementary School Teacher. She believes in the importance of being involved in the role of helping children develop successfully into the bright future we all have here at Merdian.



Ms. Alexander

Group Leader 1B


Kelly Alexander joined Triple A staff in May 2018. She has lots of experience with kids, as she worked as a gymnastics coach for ages 10 months to 12 years in a non-competitive environment for multiple years. Kelly brings a great spirit and passion fo children to the Triple A program. She enjoys shopping, being outdoors, photography, watching TV, playing with her dog, and spending time with family. One thing she loves most about being apart of the after school team is being able to get the kiddos to have fun and act silly while continuing their great learning day!



Mrs. Camarillo

Group Leader 2A

Yvonne Camarillo joined Meridian in August of 2017. She is certified in Management/Leadership. She also holds certificates in Capturing Kids Hearts and Making The PYP Happen In the Classroom. She attended Austin Community College and South University. Mrs. Camarillo has more than 20 years of management experience where she supervised various companies into becoming strong in leadership. She was the GM/Co-Owner in a well renowned restaurant in Corpus Christi, TX. In her present days she is pleased to invest in several opportunities that involve the real estate business. She has more than 4 years experience working with children. She worked for RRISD's Special Education Department where she has said "her students changed her life for the best". On her off days she loves writing, vacationing and spending time with family and friends.



Ms. Rutter

Group Leader 2B


Aliza Rutter is excited for her first year with the Triple A Team in the 2018-2019 school year! She came to us with a background as a dance instructor and prior experience as an after school counselor. She is also a certified cosmetologist and group fitness instructor. She is currently pursuing a degree in accounting. Her hobbies include taking dance classes, exercising, crocheting, and art.



Ms. Russell

Group Leader 3A


Jalyssa Russell began working at Meridian in March of 2015. She grew up in Central Pennsylvania and moved to Austin after living near Manhattan for a few years. She enjoys traveling, paddle boarding, writing, and television conventions. Her favorite part of being a group leader is teaching the kids how to write stories. 



Mr. Henne

Group Leader 3B


Neil Henne joined Meridian in August 2017 as a Group Leader for the 4th grade.  He graduated from Michigan State University where he majored in Political Science and Russian and went on to receive a Doctorate in Jurisprudence from Wayne State University Law School in Detroit, Michigan. He enjoys reading, movies, and joining his wife in entertaining their 3 cats.  He is currently studying for his teacher certification and looks forward to being a positive influence on young minds.



Mr. Mahler

Group Leader 4A


Johann Mahler has worked at Triple A since November 2017. Before moving to Round Rock he was working in after school care in Denton, TX for three years. While in Denton he studied communications, film, and music production. During the summer, before the Fall of 2018, he continued to work on music production by sound designing the play for the Summer Youth Theater at the Vortex in Austin. He continues to use these skills to motivate and enrich his students creatively and artistically. "There is a type of art (music, art, theater etc.) out there for everyone. Learning your style helps build confidence in expressing yourself." - Solo



Mr. Howell

Group Leader 4B


Mr. Howell was born in Kansas City, Kansas and moved to Texas in his early teens. Playing most team sports and participating in music and arts Mr. Howell graduated from Stony Point High school and is currently enrolled in College for Political Science. He plans on attending Law school after graduating. Mr. Howell is an easy going group leader who is looking forward to an exciting and safe school year.



Ms. Owen

Group Leader 5A


Vanessa Owen joined Meridian in March of 2018 and is excited for the brand new school year! She is currently pursing a degree in Child Psychology and spent a year studying at Texas A&M Corpus Christi. Ms. Owen has had experience with working with children for 4 years as she use to work in the Fun Zone as a coordinator at the Dell Diamond. She enjoys working in fun and exciting environments and hope to encourage her kids to be the best they can be. 



Ms. Galindo

Group Leader 5B


Cassandra Galindo joined the Triple A Program in February of 2017 as a group leader. She took a break in May 2017 and returned to the after school program in March of 2018. She has been working with children for 2 years while pursuing a college degree in Veterinary Medicine. She is currently studying at ACC to get certified as a Veterinary Technician. She plans on transferring to Texas A&M at College Station to finish her degree. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her fur child Sydney Bay the Australian Shepard. “I love working with children because it allows me to tap into my inner child and have fun while inspiring and changing lives."  



Ms. Fitzgerald
Group Support Staff
Nancy Fitzgerald joined Meridian in September 2018 excited to be a part of the team! She came on as a  K-1 Supporter. Nancy studied to become a Nurse at FMU in Sumter, SC and has a nursing and sales background. She is currently working at Infinite Compassion LLC, giving non-medical at home care, pet assistance, and academic learning to seniors, pets and special needs. She has over 10 years experience working with children while also raising her own. Her hobbies are working with kids, animals, gardening, reading, yoga, cycling, and dancing. Nancy has a passion for animals and helping others so she does what she can to help others whether in the community or at the work place.

Mr. Benton

Group Support Staff


Enoch Benton has been around kids all of his life as he is one of ten children in his house! He continued to work with children by helping run a VBS program for six years. Mr. Benton has been on multiple humanitarian trips, both within the United States and to international locations such as Honduras. In his spare time, he likes to do volunteer work around town and interact with his church in an effort to help people the best he can. 



Mrs. D

Group Support Staff


Maricar Daugherty joined Meridian in October 2018. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in
Accounting and has a background in Marketing. She’s born and raised in the Philippines and
lived a few years in Singapore before moving to the United States. Mrs D is a bilingual and
fluent in Filipino/Tagalog and also a registered Parent Volunteer for RRISD. She loves spending
time with her family and friends, going to festivals, sports, reading, crafting, broadway musicals,
cooking, and volunteering at her child’s elementary school. Becoming a parent has made her
passionate and excited for the opportunity to work with children. She believes that creating a
fun, positive, and safe environment is essential to their early skills development and promoting
positive emotions and creativity.



Ms. Perry

Group Support Staff


Alexis Perry is excited to start the 2018-2019 school year at Meridian! She realized her love for children when she started baby-sitting in high school. Ms. Perry believes that children should have a role model to look up to and she hopes to be that person. She is looking forward to the new learning experiences that she will receive at Meridian.
