Triple A Manager
Kathryn Patschke joined us as the Triple A Manager in May of 2018. She brings her expertise in child development and staff management. She came to us with a background as the Program Director of a physical development center with nearly 8 years of experience. She holds an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education, and is currently pursuing her Bachelors in Youth and Community Studies with a focus in Early Education at the University of Texas at Austin. What drew her to Meridian was the mission. She believes in the importance of helping students develop social and intellectual skills that will not only help them in their transition into adulthood and into the workforce, but more importantly help them develop relationships to enjoy a fulfilling life.
Triple A Assistant Manager
Amy Flanigin will be starting with Meridian World School as the Triple A Assistant Manager in January of 2020. Mrs. Flanigin was born and raised in Austin, Texas. She is coming to us with 8 years of experience in child development and a background as the Director of Curriculum and Training at a children's enrichment center. Mrs. Flanigin is scheduled to graduate in May 2020 with an Associates Degree in the Arts of Teaching, and plans to work towards her Bachelors. Mrs. Flanigin has a passion for working with children. She is excited for the opportunity to build relationships and be a part of the student’s growth in the Triple A program. In her free time, Amy loves spending time with family and friends, checking out live music, and going on fun adventures.
Aliza Rutter started with Meridian World School as the Triple A 2B Group Leader in August 2018. She took the role of Receptionist Support in January 2019. Ms. Rutter is from Denver, Colorado and came to us with experience as an after school counselor and a teacher of children's dance and swim classes. She is a licensed cosmetologist and is scheduled to graduate in May 2020 with an Associates Degree in Accounting. Ms. Rutter loves being a part of the Triple A Program and giving kids the opportunity to be creative in their own way. In her free time, she can be found exercising, reading, or hanging out with friends and family.
Group Leader K2
Jasmine Capello was excited to join Meridian in March of 2019! She has lived in the Round Rock area her entire life and loves working to help make the community a better place. Ms. Capello is a full-time volunteer and also gives free bible lessons to people of all ages. She enjoys listening to music and during her free time she reads and paints, but of course not at the same time.
Group Leader K3
Alexandria Thompson joined Meridian as K3 support in August of 2019. For the past 8 years, Alexandria has been babysitting and nannying children from ages newborn to 8 years old. She is CPR and CCMA certified. Alexandria is also beginning her first year in college majoring in pre-medical studies.
1st Grade Support
Merilyn Rodriguez was born in Austin, Texas. However, she has lived in four other states at some point in her life. Ms. Rodriguez graduated from Hendrickson High School in 2016. After high school, she attended a Medical Assistant Program and graduated in 2018. Ms. Rodriguez is familiar with the Triple A program as she previously worked as a 1st grade group leader in 2018. In Merilyn's free time, she loves to spend time outdoors and with family.
Group Leader 2A
Jordaan Hefner joined the Triple A Staff in February of 2019 and is excited to be a part of the team! She attended Texas State University and now has a Bachelor’s Degree in English with a secondary focus in Mass Communication. She is an alumna of an International Music Sorority. She is currently in the process of obtaining her Teaching Certification while also working part-time as a waitress. She enjoys listening to music, singing, reading, writing and watching movies!
Group Leader 4B
Yvonne Camarillo joined Meridian in August of 2017. She attended Austin Community College and South University with management as her major. Mrs. Camarillo is certified in Management/Leadership having over 20 years of management experience. She's helped supervise various companies by building up towards leadership and teamwork. She was the GM/Co-Owner of a well renowned restaurant in Corpus Christi, TX and in her present days she is pleased to invest in several opportunities that involves the real estate business. She is also currently working as an Accounts Supervisor by day for a Property Management Firm. She has more than 5 years experience working with children. She worked for RRISD's Special Education Department earning certificates in Capturing Kids Heart and Making The PYP Happen. Mrs Camarillo has said throughout her career that "working for the school system with all of her students has changed her life for the best, giving her such peace". On her off days she loves writing, vacationing and spending time with her family and friends.
