Triple A- After School Enrichment Program

Meet the 2017-2018 After School Enrichment Program Team!                                                                                


Mrs. Patschke-Triple A Manager


Kathryn Patschke joined us as the Triple A Manager in May of 2018. She brings her expertise in child development and staff management. She came to us with a background as the Program Director of a physical development center with nearly 8 years of experience. She holds an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education and is currently pursuing her Bachelors in Youth and Community Studies with a focus in Special Populations at the University of Texas at Austin. What drew her to Meridian was the mission. She believes in the importance of helping students develop social and intellectual skills that will not only help them in their transition into adulthood and into the workforce, but more importantly help them develop relationships to enjoy a fulfilling life.



Mrs. Soni- Enrichment Coordinator


Geetanjali Soni joined Meridian in fall 2011 as the enrichment leader for first grade. She continued on in successive years as the second and third grade leader. After working as the Senior Enrichment Leader, Mrs. Soni was promoted to Enrichment Coordinator position. As the enrichment coordinator, she plans and supervises enriching activities and events for the entire program. In 2016 she was promoted to the assistant manager as well as overseeing enrichment curriculum. She has a Bachelor of Arts from Delhi University, India, Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas State University, and a Texas Teacher’s Certification for early childhood through fourth grade and ESL. She has over 20 years of teaching experience. She has worked as a tutor, mentor, aerobics instructor, and cosmetologist consultant. She currently teaches yoga, beginner chess, creative art classes, and substitutes in Round Rock ISD. Mrs. Soni was the co-manager and appraiser of a Destination Imagination team in 2015-16. She enjoys cooking, crafts, shopping, photography, and family time. "Meridian’s after school program helps me to explore my own interests, hobbies, and ideas. I love the after school environment and encouraging staff that I work with. In summer of 2017, she had the opportunity to oversee the Badger Dog Writing Camp hosted at Meridian School. Her philosophy for the after school program is Supervision, Safety and Structure.



Ms. Soto- Triple A Registrar and Receptionist


Jackie Soto joined Meridian in fall 2014 as the Triple A Enrichment Program Receptionist and became the Triple A Enrichment Program Registrar in the spring of 2015. She attended Austin Everest Institute and graduated as a Medical Assistant in 2012. As a student at Everest Institute, she received hands - on training with patient care and communication; she is also well trained in both administrative and clinical procedures. Some of Ms. Soto’s interests include reading, learning new things, exercising, watching her favorite TV shows, and spending time with family. “In an orchestra, a diverse collection of instruments, each with its own unique sound, work together to produce a beautiful symphony. I’m excited to be a part of this team because we are all so unique each ‘with our own sound’ and it’s amazing to be part of such a diverse and collaborative environment.”



Ms. Gallego - Support Staff


Melissa Gallego joined the Triple A After School Family in April of 2018 as Support Staff much to her own surprise and excitement! She is currently working towards acquiring a degree in Computer Science form the University of Texas at Austin. She enjoys volunteering, reading, weightlifting, and spending time with her family and beloved dog Whisky. Her ultimate goal is to be happy and to spread this happiness to everyone around her.


Ms. Lewis - Group K1 Leader


J'Neshiya Lewis joined Meridian in October 2016 as the group leader for fifth grade. She has a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and was a substitute for two years at AISD. She enjoys helping children learn and making learning fun for children and she is very excited about 2017-18 school year with, her after school Kindergarteners.



Ms. Galindo – Group K2 Leader


Cassandra Galindo joined Meridian,Triple A After School in February of 2017 as group leader. She took a break in May 2017 and returned to the after school program in March of 2018 as the Triple She has been working with children for 2 years, while pursuing a college degree in Veterinary Medicine. She is currently studying at ACC to get Certified as a Veterinary Technician. She plans on transferring to Texas A&M at College Station to finish her degree. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her fur child Sydney Bay the Australian Shepard. “I love working with children because it allows me to tap into my inner child and have fun while inspiring and changing lives.”

Mrs. Davis – Group 1A Leader                                                                                                              

Kathy Davis joined Meridian School in August 2017. She has several years of experience working as a Pre-K assistant. She also helped children between the ages of 3 and 5 develop and master basic computer skills. She has a love for animals. She enjoys reading, running and traveling.


Ms. Rodriguez - Group 1B Leader

Merilyn Rodriguez joined Meridian School in February 2018. She attended Virginia College and graduated in 2018 as a Medical Assistant and Phlebotomy Tech. She has helped with children between the ages of 5-10. She enjoys traveling, outdoors, and spending quality time with family and friends.


Mr. Mahler - Group 2A Leader


Johann Mahler joined Meridian in November 2017 as a group leader. He recently worked as an after school teacher in Denton Texas from 2015-2017. He is studying communications and political science at Texas State here in Round Rock. In his spare time Mr. Mahler enjoys listening to all genres of music. He also enjoys working on film, theater, acting and sound design. "I try to keep an open mind and I'm always excited to learn something new! "




Ms. Camarillo – Group 2B Leader


Yvonne Camarillo joined Meridian in August of 2017. She is certified in Management/Leadership. She also holds certificates in Capturing Kids Hearts and Making The PYP Happen In the Classroom. She attended Austin Community College and South University. Mrs. Camarillo has more than 15 years of management experience where she was the GM/Co-Owner in a well renowned restaurant in Corpus Christi Tx before transitioning over into the classroom. She has more than 3 years experience working with children. She worked for RRISD's Special Education Department where she has said "her students changed her life for the best" On her off days she enjoys writing, designing make-up with her daughter and visiting with both her sons that have moved out to attend college.



Ms. Russell – Group 3A Leader


Jalyssa Russell joined Meridian in 2015 as a group leader. She has been a leader for 2nd Grade and 3rd Grade. She is passionate about working with kids and hopes to one day be a social worker. In her spare time, she enjoys writing and television.



Ms. Seeman – Group 3B Leader


Skylar Seeman joined Meridian in February 2018 as a group leader for third grade. She has worked at the Round Rock Dell Diamond in the kids area and enjoys working with children in an outdoor and fun environment. She loves inspiring kids and hopes to one day pursue her love in children’s education by becoming a teacher for Elementary School.




Mr. Henne - Group Leader 4A


Neil Henne joined Meridian in August 2017 as a Group Leader for the 4th grade.  He graduated from Michigan State University where he majored in Political Science and Russian and went on to receive a Doctorate in Jurisprudence from Wayne State University Law School in Detroit, Michigan. He enjoys reading, movies, and joining his wife in entertaining their 3 cats.  He is currently studying for his teacher certification and looks forward to being a positive influence on young minds.



Ms. Williams –Group Leader 4B

Alliyah Williams joined Meridian in August 2016 as a group leader. She later accepted the role of the After School Support Staff in the spring of 2017. As the Support Staff she takes on the responsibility of being the on-call help to any after school staff member. While she was in high school she was very active in numerous clubs, some of which she started herself. However, her favorite club, peer coaching, allowed her to be a tutor and a mentor to both peers and elementary students. She enjoys reading, writing poetry and books, creating and acting in plays, along with learning many different art styles. "Meridian has given me such a huge opportunity to help students discover new things through many different artistic ways. Everyday these wonderful students teach me something new about art and life; all of this keeps me coming back to this amazing school."



Ms. Owen – Group Leader 5A


Vanessa Owen joined Meridian in March 2018 as the group leader for fifth grade. She is pursuing a degree in kid’s psychology and spent a year studying at Texas A&M Corpus Christi. She worked for the Dell Diamond in the Fun Zone and enjoys working with children in a fun and exciting environment. She hopes to encourage and lead her kids to be the best they can be.




Ms. J – Group Leader 5B


Khristene Justiniano was born in California, raised in Texas. She has worked with children of all age groups for about 5 years now and is currently going to school to earn her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Some of the things she enjoys are family, animals, painting, reading non-fiction, and coffee.
