2025-2026 Athletics Awards Ceremony
Who: For student athletes who participated in one or more season of competitive sports this school year
What: An awards ceremony to celebrate our student athletes
When: Monday, April 27 from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m.
Where: Mays Gym
Guests: There is no limit for each student athlete's guests; however seating is limited. It is recommended that each student bring one or two guests. Please note that the first several rows of seats on the Mays floor will be reserved for the student athletes.
Dress: Student athletes could be called to the stage for an award. Please dress up a little. Appropriate attire includes business attire, business casual, and smart casual. Please dress appropriately for a school honors ceremony.

Like the MYP and DP Awards Ceremonies honor academic achievement, the Athletics Awards Ceremony will recognize our outstanding student athletes. There are up to four (4) awards per team, so each student athlete will not receive an award. Awards are given at the discretion of the coach. It is possible for one student athlete to be honored with more than one award. It is also possible that a team might not have a nomination for a category, In the spirit of teamwork, we encourage the entire community to come together to celebrate Meridian sports and their teammates.
There will not be food or drinks at this event. You are welcome to make arrangements with your team to meet for a celebratory dinner at another location after the ceremony.
