About Sports Photos
Student athletes participating in competitive sports seasons will take individual athlete photos at scheduled photo sessions. The photographer will build composite team photos using the individual athlete photos.
Team photos will be used in the Meridian yearbook. Posters will be made from our Varsity team photos, which will be displayed in the Mays gym during the sports season. Seniors participating in competitive sports will have a poster made and hung in the gym. (They will get their posters to keep at the end of the school year.) Official team photos and other photos taken of the team during the season could be used to promote the team's events and accomplishments on the website, in announcement slides, and/or on social media.
When photos are available for purchasing, an email will be sent to Parent/Guardian 1 (from the sports registration form) for ordering. There is a discount offered if ordering by a certain date. Otherwise, the gallery is left open through the end of the academic year. Orders are shipped directly to the student athlete's home. Ordering sports photos is optional. Meridian Athletics does not provide any prints or photo keepsakes other than the senior poster from the gym at the end of the school year.

Please arrive at least 5 minutes before your scheduled photo session in your full team uniform.
2:15 p.m. - Varsity Tennis photo session. (After photos, Varsity Tennis players will report directly to Cimarron Hills for practice from 3:05 - 4:30 p.m.)
2:35 p.m. - Middle School Tennis photo session. (After photos, Middle School Tennis will go to their first match. Tennis Match Schedule.)
3:00 p.m. - Coed Middle School Soccer photo session. (Practice cancelled.)
3:20 p.m. - Boys JV Soccer photo session.
3:40 p.m. - Boys Varsity Soccer photo session. (Practice cancelled.)
4:00 p.m. - Girls Varsity Soccer photo session.
Frequently Asked Questions
What if a student misses their team's picture time?
If you know you have an unavoidable prior commitment, please email Coach Ashlie before missing your scheduled photo session. In general, make-up sessions are not available.
After missing your team's photo session, please email Meridian Athletics and we will make sure you are listed as "not pictured" under your team's photo in the yearbook.
Will developmental sports groups have picture days?
Developmental sports do not have a professional photo session. Students participating in developmental groups are encouraged to try out for their sport's competitive season to enjoy the additional experiences that are traditionally included with competitive sports seasons.

- Competitive sports athletes
- Student managers
- Coaches and assistant coaches
Practice players and developmental student athletes do not participate in sports photos.
What if the student lost eligibility?
Students who are ineligible but are working to regain academic, physical, or financial eligibility should still participate in the scheduled photo session. Reminder, there are no retakes available. Students who have lost character in good standing eligibility will need to consult with Coach Ashlie to determine if they are permitted to take sports photos and be in the team photo.
