Sports Photos 2023-2024

For the 2023-24 competitive sports seasons, Meridian Athletics is pleased to announce we are continuing our partnership with Jon Kniss of Austin Picture Guy Photography! We have dates secured for the competitive sports teams that align with their season. Specific team slots within those days and times have not yet been determined. Please watch TeamApp for updates, and check this webpage for details as we get closer to your photo session..
About Sports Photos
Student athletes participating in competitive sports seasons will take individual athlete photos at scheduled photo sessions. The photographer will build composite team photos using the individual athlete photos. Find the price sheet here (coming soon).
Team photos will be used in the Meridian yearbook. Posters will be made from our Varsity team photos, which will be displayed in the Mays gym during the sports season. Student athlete headshots will be used for the team rosters on the league's (TCSAAL's) portal. Other photos could be used to promote the team's events and accomplishments on the website, in announcement slides, and/or on social media.
When photos are available for purchasing, an email will be sent to Parent/Guardian 1 for ordering. The ordering window is limited and will be communicated in that email.

Seniors!
Seniors who are participating in competitive sports are encouraged to bring their parents/guardians and take a photo that includes them in recognition of their support in your sport's journey. You might also want to bring your letter jacket or anything else that is significant for you to capture in your senior sports photo(s).
Frequently Asked Questions
What if a student misses their team's picture time?
Please email Meridian Athletics and we will make sure you are listed as "not pictured" under your team's photo in the yearbook. Make-up photo sessions are not available.
Will developmental sports groups have picture days?
With the addition of several new developmental sports offerings, sports pictures will only be able to be offered to competitive sports. Students participating in developmental groups are encouraged to try out for their sport's competitive season to enjoy the additional experiences that are traditionally included with competitive sports seasons.
